Welcome to the web site of Faith United Church! At Faith United we believe the power of God is truly displayed through the preaching of the Gospel.  Therefore, we honor the preaching of the Word in our services.  God has called us to a specific mission field with a specific calling...our calling is:  to preach the Gospel so that disciples are made for the Lord Jesus Christ. God has called us to reach out with the love, hope and power of Jesus Christ to the people of Hempstead, Waller County, and the surrounding counties, towns, and communities.

At Faith United Church we are Charismatic in experience.  We believe that all the gifts of the Spirit are operational in the church today as the Spirit of God determines.  Therefore we strive to grow and honor God through the gifts of the Spirit.  In our worship services we sing a mixture of new choruses and hymns, and encourage everyone to express their love for the Lord freely.

Our vision is to be a church that the fruit of the Spirit is displayed.  We long to be a church in which people of all races, economic classes and levels of spiritual maturity can come together to worship, learn, grow in, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ...and we invite you to join us in this awesome move of the Holy Spirit!
